You Play Baseball, We Do The Rest

One of the biggest challenges of playing baseball as an adult isn’t the game itself — it’s everything that comes with it. Finding fields, raising money, organizing schedules, managing social media, and keeping a team running can take all the fun out of what should be a simple love for the sport. The Association of Senior Baseball was created to take that stress off your shoulders. We handle the league operations, scheduling, marketing, and fundraising systems so you can focus on the part that really matters — putting a team together and playing the game.

As a player-manager, your job is to lead your team on the field, not spend your free time trying to chase sponsors or figure out who’s available next weekend. That’s our job. Our league staff works year-round to make sure every team has a smooth season, steady organization, and real support behind them. We believe adult baseball should feel like baseball again — competitive, fun, and hassle-free. You bring the passion and the players; we’ll handle everything else.

America's Pastime, How it Should Be

The Association of Senior Baseball is built on the spirit of the game’s Golden Age — when town ball was the heartbeat of America and every small town had a team to call its own. Back then, baseball wasn’t just a sport; it was a community event that brought families, friends, and neighbors together on warm summer nights. We want to bring that feeling back. Our league is designed to revive that same local pride and connection, giving towns across the country a reason to gather at the ballpark again and cheer for their home team.

Each summer, our teams will compete in a full 40–50 game schedule running from May through September, facing off against nearby regional opponents in intense, high-level competition. At the end of the regular season, the winners of each conference will advance to battle for the Association’s National Championship — where the best of the best compete not just for bragging rights, but for a cash prize and a place in league history. It’s baseball the way it used to be — competitive, meaningful, and deeply rooted in the pride of the towns and players who make it possible.

Competitive Ball, Without the BS

The Association of Senior Baseball was built for players and teams who still love the game and miss the feeling of real competition. We’re creating a league that brings back the excitement and energy of travel ball — the walk-up music, the team gear, the weekend crowds, and the fun that came with playing for something bigger than yourself. This league is about enjoying the game again, playing with pride for your city, and being part of a well-run, structured baseball community that feels serious but still keeps the joy of the sport front and center.

This is not a league for players chasing professional contracts or trying to climb the ladder of organized baseball — though we believe that kind of success can happen naturally for talented players who stand out. Our focus is on former high school and college athletes who still have the fire to compete but want to stay close to home, balance life and baseball, and play for the love of the game. The Association of Senior Baseball is where you can bring back that spark, compete hard every weekend, and experience the same sense of team and excitement that made you fall in love with baseball in the first place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Kind Of Teams/Players are we lookING FOR?

The Association of Senior Baseball is looking for former travel, high school and Division III college players who still have the drive to compete and the love for the game. This league is built for ballplayers who miss the dugout, the rivalries, and the feeling of stepping between the lines on game day. We’re not focused on player development or recruitment — we’re focused on competition, teamwork, and fun. Our players come from all walks of life but share one thing in common: they want to play good, hard baseball in a structured, competitive environment without all the politics or pressure that can take the joy out of the game.

What Skill Level do I need to be to play?

To ensure a high level of competition and a fun experience for everyone, the Association of Senior Baseball recommends that players have at least high school-level baseball experience. This background helps maintain consistent skill and knowledge on the field, keeps games competitive, and allows teammates and opponents alike to enjoy the pace and strategy of the game. While talent can come from many places, having that foundational experience ensures players can step in and contribute right away, making the league more rewarding for everyone involved.

What are the fees to play in the league?

In the Association of Senior Baseball, the Player Manager will pay a one time fee of $50 to participate — their role is focused entirely on leading and organizing the team. Instead, each player contributes a total of $275 for the season to cover league fees This structure keeps the financial burden off the manager while ensuring the league can provide a high-quality, well-organized experience for every team and player. Players know exactly what they are paying for, and the money goes directly into making the season smooth, competitive, and fun.

What Does the League Provide ITS Teams?

The Association of Senior Baseball operates each team with a flexible budget designed to cover the essentials while rewarding community support and success. Every team is guaranteed a minimum level of resources, including field time, uniforms, insurance, umpires, and full stat tracking. Beyond these basics, teams have the opportunity to access additional resources, equipment, and enhancements based on the success of local fundraising drives and community support. This approach ensures that every team can compete effectively while giving players and managers the chance to grow their program and make their season even more enjoyable and professional.

How are teams funded?

Teams in the Association of Senior Baseball are funded through a combination of player dues and league-supported fundraising efforts. Each month during the off-season, the Association organizes fundraising events for every team, providing structured opportunities to generate additional revenue while engaging the local community. These events are coordinated with the help of part-time local staff hired by the league, ensuring that every team has the support needed to maximize their fundraising potential. This system allows teams to focus on playing baseball while still having the resources to enhance their season and create a professional, enjoyable experience for players and fans alike.

Where are teams located?

Teams in the Association of Senior Baseball are located all across the continental United States, creating a true national network of competitive adult baseball. To make travel manageable and keep the competition regional, teams are divided into conferences based on geography, allowing for regular matchups against nearby opponents. Each state has a set minimum and maximum number of teams that can join the league, ensuring balanced competition while maintaining flexibility for new markets. This structure allows players to enjoy high-level baseball close to home, while still participating in a league that stretches across the country.
