Team Requirements
1- Initial Roster
When registering a team with the Association of Senior Baseball, each team will initially submit a roster of 10 players: 9 players plus the player-manager. This roster is due at the time of registration and serves as the foundation for building the team’s season. Having this initial group ensures that every team starts with committed players and a manager in place, allowing the league to organize schedules, divisions, and resources effectively from the very beginning.
Note: Your team must have 10 players upon registration
2- Full Roster
On March 8th at 10:00 PM EST, each team in the Association of Senior Baseball will submit their full roster of 25 players to the league, along with the total league fee. This submission finalizes the team’s official lineup for the season and ensures that all players are registered, fees are collected, and the league can properly plan schedules, divisions, and resources. Meeting this deadline is crucial for keeping the season organized and guaranteeing a smooth start for every team.
Note: Your 25-man roster is due on March 8th
3- Roster Rules
Rosters in the Association of Senior Baseball will be composed of 25 players, including 14 position players and 11 pitchers, though players are allowed to fill multiple roles if needed. All players must be at least 18 years old by May 1st to participate in the season. Additionally, players cannot currently be active in travel, high school, college, or professional baseball. These rules ensure fair competition, maintain the amateur status of the league, and help teams build balanced, competitive rosters while keeping the focus on fun and community-based baseball.
Note: Your roster must be divided between players/pitchers and cannot be actively playing in another league
4- Team Branding
In the Association of Senior Baseball, the league will select the team name and logo to ensure consistency, professionalism, and alignment with the league’s brand standards. However, the player-manager has full control over designing the team’s colors and uniforms, allowing each team to express its unique identity and local pride. This approach balances a unified league image with creative freedom for teams, giving players and communities a sense of ownership while maintaining a polished, professional appearance across the Association.
Note: We pick the name, you design the unforms
